Your book description / blurb
Because your blurb is your last chance for a sale.
It can be a lot of hard work enticing a reader to your book’s sales page on Amazon, Kobo, or wherever else you sell your novels. But whether they take that extra step and click the “Buy now” button depends largely on one thing: your book description, or blurb as it’s more commonly known.
You might think your book description is a short summary of your story – that it tells the potential reader what’s going to happen when they read your book.
But that’s not really what you should be aiming for. Your favourite books probably didn’t become your favourites just because of what happened–although of course that’s part of it.
More importantly, you love that book from all those years ago, because of how it made you feel.
